  • Vancouver International Burlesque Festival
    What: The 3rd Annual Vancouver International Burlesque Festival is a week-long celebration of burlesque, with performers from Vancouver, New York City, Australia and more.

  • La Bohème
    What: Vancouver Opera performs one of the most popular operas of all time, Puccini’s La Bohème.

  • Celebrities: Hot Sexy Fashion
    What: Celebrities Nightclub hosts the Spring /Summer Runway Charity benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, featuring special guest DJ’s Ricco, Soo & Cartoon Army and a fashion runway show.

  • Tuesdays with Morrie
    What: Arts Club Theatre Company performs the famous stage play about a man reuniting with a beloved former teacher.

  • China Red Meets Bluegrass
    What: What do you get when you cross a quartet of traditional Chinese plucked instruments with a bluegrass band? The Asian fiery foursome Red Chamber, led by zheng master Mei Han, challenges powerhouse pickers from the west, The Jaybirds, led by mandolin guru John Reischman.

  • Got Craft
    What: A twist on the traditional craft fair, this big event has over 40 independent, local vendors selling handmade crafts of all kinds.

  • Vancouver Marathon
    What: The 37th BMO Vancouver Marathon includes the Marathon, walking and wheelchair events, and the kid-friendly Kids MaraFun.

    Where: Starting at Pacific Boulevard, at the south side of BC Place Stadium
    Cost: $125 for the full Marathon (for registration on May 1 -3); $40 for the Kids MaraFun
