The Irish Heather is a Gastown institution, and its $18 Dine Out Menu--which includes their homemade, vegan Mushroom Crepe or Bangers and Mash--is a great deal for three courses. If you enjoy their Dine Out dinner, come back for the famous Long Table Series!
The Reef
One of SoMa's Best Restaurants--it has a location on Commercial Drive, too--The Reef's award-winning Caribbean cuisine is a steal at three-courses-for-$18. Their $18 Dine Out Menu includes their popular Jerk Chicken, and has gluten-free options.
Las Margaritas
Bring your appetite to Kitsilano's Las Margaritas; it serves Mexican food by way of Southern California, which means it is rich. I'm not sure most people will be able to make it through all three courses of its $18 Dine Out menu (seriously, cerviche and prawn tacos and dessert?!), but it will be a pleasure to try!
