Guide Review - Hell's Kitchen
A favourite gathering place for locals, West 4th Avenue shoppers, Kits beach-goers and sports-bar game-watchers (the bar boasts new flat screens with HDTV), Hell's Kitchen is a classic restaurant-bar combo with a great vibe on crowded nights.Arguably the most popular menu items are their well-known, tasty thin-crusts pizzas, full of unusual flavors, like the "Shanghai Baby's" smoked free-range chicken, red & yellow peppers, asiago, and sweet chili sauce or the "Daisy Duke's" smoked bacon, roasted corn, sweet peppers, and BBQ sauce. But try their "Hell's Poutine"--Kennebic potatoes, crispy capers, aged Quebec white cheddar, prosciutto, peppercorn tenderloin jus--for a real taste treat.
Burgers, pastas, and share platters of appetizers--including sweet potato fries--round out the menu. Entrées range from $10 - $25; pizzas (also available for take-out) are 2-for-1 on Tuesdays.
