How to Find a Family Doctor in Vancouver

Whether you've just moved to Vancouver or have a family doctor who is retiring (or who you don't like), there are few tasks as daunting as having to find a new family doctor. Not only is it difficult to find a family doctor  who is accepting new patients, it can also be difficult to figure out how to get healthcare while you're looking for a family doctor (other than using emergency rooms).

To help, I created a new Guide: How to Find a Family Doctor in Vancouver. It has tips and strategies for finding a new doctor, plus explains where you can get the healthcare you need if you don't (yet) have a family doctor in place.

When I first moved to Vancouver, I was lucky to find my family doctor through a referral from a doctor at a Walk-in Clinic in my neighbourhood. I'd love to hear from others how you found your family doctors in Vancouver--please leave a comment below!
