Love it or loathe it, Valentine's Day is just around the corner. For the traditionalists who love Valentine's Day for the romance, there are lots of options for celebrating in and around Vancouver this year, from romantic dining to special V-Day events. For those who want an alternative to all the candy-and-flowers, tickets are on sale now for the People's Prom (held this year at The Ukrainian Hall, 154 E. 10th Ave), the annual bash for "a radical, community-oriented, anti-capitalist, queer, cross-dressing, gender bending, bike loving, slow dancing, big dress wearing, good time."
