Assuming the world doesn't end, don't miss the last weekend for Grouse Mountain's Peak of Christmas and the Vancouver Christmas Market.

  • Winter Solstice Lantern Festival
    Take part in one of the world's oldest traditions at this annual event that celebrates the return of the light after the year's shortest day. The Festival includes lantern displays, live musical performances, and events in five Vancouver neighbourhoods, including Chinatown, Yaletown and Granville Island. Happens Friday, December 21.

    Grouse Mountain celebrates the holidays with a month of family fun: live entertainment, real reindeer, breakfasts with Santa, outdoor ice skating, and more. Ends Monday, December 24.
