Given that most of us are still engorging ourselves with leftover Halloween candy (Just me?), it's jarring to think that Christmas and the winter holidays--and all the gift-giving they entail--are just around the corner. But if there's one thing almost guaranteed to get you in the holiday-gift-giving mood, it's Vancouver's annual spate of Christmas craft markets, starting with the Circle Craft Christmas Market.
Back at the Vancouver Convention Centre November 7 - 11, 2012, the annual Circle Craft Christmas Market brings together 200+ vendors, including local, B.C. and Canadian artisans, selling everything from fine art to home decor, toys, food, fashion, and jewelry. So enormous it can take two or three hours to navigate, Circle Craft is a beloved holiday tradition for many Vancouverites and a shopping bonanza of unique finds, local artists and independent designers. Entrance to Circle Craft is $12 at the door (and there will be admission lines, so be prepared) or $10 online.
The Circle Craft Christmas Market is just the first of several Vancouver Christmas Markets. Make It Vancouver--a hip, modern craft market ideal for gift-shopping, is also on this weekend, November 8 - 11, 2012, at the Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial Drive), with Christmas at Hycroft following on November 15 - 18, 2012.
