- 9th Annual Vancouver Chinatown Festival
Chinatown celebrates multiculturalism with this two-day festival August 9 - 10 that includes a Green Theme Exhibition, a Youth Talent Showdown, a Chinatown Heritage and Food Tasting Walking Tour, Chinese Folk Art demonstrations, multicultural stage performers, an open-air market and children's activities. There's also a 2008 Olympic & Paralympic Games Celebration for the start of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Bejing. - West End Summer Block Party
